In 1980, our founder, Gil Martin, was in the aeronautical industry in San Diego, California and decided to take his woodworking skills to a new level. With $400 in “startup capital” and a Sears Craftsman table saw, he started a furniture company in his home garage. Thirty-five years later, while still privately held, Martin Furniture has evolved into a leading international furniture designer, manufacturer and distributor. 

Our product specialties include commercial office, home office, and entertainment furniture. Martin Furniture has well-established, long term business relationships with many of the top 100, as well as second and third tier, domestic retailers. For more than 20 years we’ve been providing proprietary products to membership warehouse clubs. We were a pioneer in order fulfillment for catalog and eCommerce companies, and today are recognized as a leader in these channels.

The Addison collection is inspired by antique, industrial tool boxes.  Its dry Auburn finish highlights the natural beauty of the open grain veneers. 

Heavy iron casters with optional lock add function to the design.

KENSINGTON COLLECTION 

Inspired by Biedermeier style, the Kensington collection is comfortably contemporary, showcasing a warm fruitwood finish and contrasting black cove and black bead molding. The tops have reversed diamond matched veneers with a black inlaid border. The posts of the cases are quarter-round, and the drawers are accented by half-round molding and ash colored drawer pulls. All Martin Furniture products carry a five year limited warranty to be free of manufacturing defects in workmanship. Component parts not manufactured by Martin Furniture such as electrical light fixtures, light bulbs, and electrical power centers are warranted by those respective manufacturers. Cost of transportation to our factory will be the responsibility of the customer. After the item is returned to our factory, we will repair or replace with same or similar unit, at our discretion. If defective, the product will be repaired or replaced and shipped back to the dealer at no cost. This warranty is void if Martin Furniture deems said damage was caused by abuse, negligence, modification, or by accident. Please contact the company for additional information.
